Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is set to launch Illumination’s Minion Land on February 14, 2025, offering fans of the Despicable Me franchise an exciting new destination filled with laughter, fun, and Minion mischief. This vibrant themed land is the result of a collaboration between Universal Creative, Illumination, and RWS, designed to immerse visitors in a colorful world of attractions, dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Among the highlights is the Super Hungry Food Stand, a lively eatery inspired by the waterfront snack stand in Despicable Me. This whimsical venue offers hearty meals alongside carnival-style games like Down-a-Clown, Lucky Ducky, and Balloon Dart, all reimagined with Minion flair.
Shoppers will be delighted by the Minion Marketplace, featuring three unique retail spaces packed with exclusive merchandise. To celebrate the grand opening, guests can grab limited-edition collectibles, including the Super Silly Space Killer vinyl figures—an iridescent edition limited to 100 pieces and a colorful version limited to 1,000. The Super Silly Fun Land Collection will offer 15 themed items, including a 3D mug, bucket hat, and puzzle keychain, with more seasonal releases planned.
Live entertainment will include the Minute of Minion Mayhem street show, starring the mischievous Minions and fan-favorite characters like Gru and Lucy. Visitors can also meet the Minions and their lively crew during interactive sessions throughout the land.
