Singapore to Welcome Etihad’s Iconic A380 in 2025

Etihad Airways has announced that its A380 double-decker aircraft will begin flying to Singapore’s Changi Airport from February 1, 2025. This marks the fourth city to join Etihad’s A380 destinations, following London and New York, with Paris set to join the lineup in November 2024. The move means Etihad will have its sixth A380 in operation by early next year.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, shared his enthusiasm about the expansion: “We’re excited to bring our A380 experience to Singapore next year. This aircraft offers our passengers an exceptional level of comfort and convenience, along with easy connections to destinations across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. This step reinforces our commitment to making travel to and from Abu Dhabi as smooth and enjoyable as possible.”

The A380 brings a touch of luxury to air travel. Economy passengers can look forward to more comfortable seating, with 68 seats offering extra legroom and 337 Smart seats featuring Etihad’s fixed-wing headrests and larger pillows.

The introduction of the A380 to the Singapore route is part of Etihad’s ongoing effort to expand its network and enhance the travel experience for its passengers as the airline gears up to meet growing demand in 2025.
