Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions from Uzbekistani travelers applying for a Singapore visa.
Quick basics
Yes. Every Uzbekistani passport holder must obtain a Singapore visa before travel. For tourism, family visits, medical trips or business, the fastest route is the online eVisa, filed by an authorized local agent in Singapore and delivered to your email after ICA approval.
Yes. Singapore is one of the most Muslim-friendly destinations in Asia. Thousands of restaurants carry MUIS (Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura) halal certification, which is the gold standard in Southeast Asia. Prayer rooms exist at Changi Airport (every terminal), Marina Bay Sands, ION Orchard, VivoCity, Universal Studios and most 4 and 5 star hotels. Look for the MUIS sticker on menus and storefronts.
Kampong Glam (Bussorah Street, Haji Lane, Arab Street) is the historic Malay-Muslim quarter with the iconic Sultan Mosque, halal cafes and textile bazaars, Uzbekistani travelers feel at home here. Geylang Serai is Singapore's Malay heartland with the biggest halal hawker market. Little India has halal South Indian options. Most malls in the city center have at least one certified halal restaurant per floor.
Singapore requires Uzbekistani applications to be submitted by a registered local sponsor or visa agent inside Singapore. We act as your authorized sponsor, prepare the Letter of Introduction (LOI) and file the application for you. You don't need to know anyone in Singapore.
Fees, timing and UZS payment
Standard is 8 working days, Priority is 5 working days, Express is 3 working days. Times exclude the day of submission and Singapore public holidays. We recommend applying at least 3 weeks before departure for breathing room.
Standard: USD 95 single, 109 double, 119 multiple. Priority: USD 125 single, 135 double, 145 multiple. Express: USD 149 single, 159 double, 169 multiple. Prices are all-in, including ICA government fee and our service fee.
Yes. Our checkout accepts any international Visa or Mastercard, including UZS cards from Kapitalbank, National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU), Hamkorbank, Ipoteka Bank, Asaka Bank and Xalq Bank, as long as the card is enabled for international online payments. The amount is charged in USD and your issuing bank converts it at the current rate.
Several options. Ask your bank to enable "международные операции" (international transactions) on your card, use a family member's card, open a Humans or Wise multi-currency card, or request an invoice from us for international SWIFT transfer. We'll hold your draft while you sort out payment.
No. The ICA portion of the fee is non-refundable by policy, regardless of outcome. Our document pre-check is your best protection: we audit every photo, scan and booking before filing to catch issues that typically trigger rejections.
Medical, family and seasonal travel
Yes. Singapore is a major regional medical hub for Uzbekistani and Central Asian patients. Mount Elizabeth, Raffles Medical, Gleneagles, Parkway East and Thomson Medical run dedicated international patient departments, often with Russian-speaking coordinators. Cardiology, oncology, orthopedic surgery, neurology and fertility are the most common cases. A standard tourist eVisa is sufficient for initial consultations and short treatments. For longer stays, the hospital will advise on the Medical Treatment visit pass.
Exceptionally so. Universal Studios Singapore (Sentosa), S.E.A. Aquarium, Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari, and the River Wonders are all family-favorite attractions, most with halal food on site. The MRT metro is stroller-friendly, taxi and Grab car seats are available on request, and MUIS halal options exist in every major attraction's food court.
Singapore is warm year-round, so timing hinges on Uzbekistani winters and school breaks. Most Uzbekistani travelers fly in November to February to escape sub-zero Tashkent weather, and June to August for school holidays. Avoid the heaviest rain months (November to December) if you're outdoor-heavy. The Singapore GP F1 weekend (September) and Great Singapore Sale (mid-year) draw timed trips.
Uzbekistan Airways operates seasonal direct flights between Tashkent and Singapore, typically Tashkent to Singapore in ~8 hours. Most travelers also connect via Seoul (Korean Air), Dubai (Emirates), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines) or Kuala Lumpur, with total travel time around 10 to 13 hours. Changi Airport is consistently ranked among the world's best.
Your stay and entry type
Up to 29 days per entry, at the ICA officer's discretion on arrival. The visa itself is valid for 63 days from the date of issue, during which you must enter Singapore at least once.
Single entry fits a simple Tashkent to Singapore round trip. Double entry is ideal for a Singapore plus Bali, Phuket or Kuala Lumpur combo. Multiple entry fits traders, medical tourism families with multi-stage treatment, and business travelers making several regional hops inside the 63-day window.
Yes, and it's one of the most popular itineraries for Uzbekistani travelers. Pick double or multiple entry, fly into Changi, spend time in Singapore, hop to Bali, Phuket or Kuala Lumpur, and loop back through Changi on the way home.
Applying from abroad and support
Yes. Uzbekistani passport holders can apply from any country. The eVisa is emailed to you regardless of where you are. Uzbekistanis in Russia, Turkey, UAE, Kazakhstan, South Korea, the EU or the US all use the service without returning to Uzbekistan.
English is our primary language. We also have team members who handle queries in Russian, which is widely used by Uzbekistani customers. Contact us on WhatsApp, email or chat, and average first reply comes back within 15 business minutes.
Documents and arrival
Taken within the last 3 months, 35mm by 45mm, plain white background, full face visible, neutral expression, no headgear (religious headwear such as hijab is permitted if facial features remain visible), no glasses with glare, high resolution, no filters.
No. Singapore requires at least 6 months of passport validity beyond your arrival date. Renew your passport first through the "Давлат хизматлари" portal or the OVIR, then apply with the new passport number.
Your Uzbekistani passport, the printed or digital eVisa, your SG Arrival Card confirmation, and supporting documents (onward ticket, hotel booking). Immigration may ask short questions about your stay, funds and return plans, so have answers ready.
Yes, both are required. The eVisa is your permission to travel, valid 63 days. The Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) is a separate free electronic health and immigration declaration every traveler must submit within 3 days before arrival. We'll be happy to file the SGAC for you as an additional service, just let us know when you apply.
No. The Singapore eVisa is strictly for short-term tourism and short business visits such as meetings, site inspections or trade show attendance. Paid employment requires a Work Pass from the Ministry of Manpower. Study over 30 days requires a Student Pass. Commercial import/export requires separate trade permits.
