Do Estonian citizens need a visa for Singapore?

Yes. Estonian passport holders need a visa to enter Singapore for tourism or business. The fastest route is an online Singapore eVisa, processed in 3 to 8 working days and delivered by email. You can choose Single Entry for one trip to Singapore, Double Entry for two trips within the 63-day validity window, or Multiple Entry for unlimited entries within the same 63 days. A separate SG Arrival Card must also be submitted within 3 days before arrival. We can handle both the eVisa and the Arrival Card for you.

🇪🇪For Estonian travelers

Why Singapore is a perfect short getaway for Estonians

From Tartu, Tallinn, and Narva, Singapore is one of the smoothest long-weekend and week-long destinations in Asia. Here is why so many Estonian travelers choose it for tourism.

No. 01

Escape the long Estonian winter, Singapore is 28 °C year-round

From December through March, Tallinn, Tartu and Narva sit near or below freezing for months and the sun sets by 4pm. Singapore holds a steady 26 to 31 °C every single month. Two flights away, you swap black ice and polar nights for Marina Bay sunsets, rooftop pools and Gardens by the Bay. It is the easiest winter reset for Estonian families.

🌡️ 28 °C avg ☀️ 12 hours of daylight year-round 🏝️ Sentosa beaches in 25 min

2

One-stop from Tallinn (TLL) in 14 to 16 hours

There is no nonstop Tallinn to Singapore flight. The smoothest one-stop routes go via Helsinki (Finnair), Frankfurt (Lufthansa or Singapore Airlines), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines), Doha (Qatar Airways) or Dubai (Emirates). Night flights let you board after work in Tallinn and land rested in Singapore the next evening.

3

Safe, clean, and English-friendly

Singapore is consistently ranked in the world's top 5 safest countries. English is the working language everywhere (signs, menus, hospitals), so for Estonian travelers there is no language barrier. Clean streets, efficient MRT, and predictable rules, exactly the Nordic-style order Estonians feel at home with.

4

City, beach and theme parks in one trip

Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa Island and Universal Studios are all within 30 minutes of each other. Add the S.E.A. Aquarium, Night Safari and a day trip to Bintan (Indonesia) or Bali for a full week-long Asia experience. Perfect for Estonian families and first-time Asia travelers.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions from Estonian travelers applying for a Singapore visa.

Before you apply

Yes. Every Estonian passport holder needs a visa to enter Singapore, whether for tourism, a business meeting, a medical consultation or a family trip. The fastest route is the online eVisa, an electronic document issued by ICA and emailed to you after approval. No embassy visit or in-person interview is required.

Singapore requires applications from Estonian nationals to be filed through a registered sponsor or visa agent inside Singapore. As an authorized local consultancy we act as your sponsor, prepare the Letter of Introduction (LOI), and submit the file on your behalf. You don't need to know anyone in Singapore to apply through us.

The eVisa is your legal permission to travel, issued by ICA and valid for 63 days from issue. The SG Arrival Card (SGAC) is a separate electronic health and immigration declaration every traveler must submit within 3 days before arrival. You can add SGAC filing as an optional add-on at checkout for a small fee.

If you stay inside the transit lounge without clearing immigration, no visa is required. If your connection requires you to leave the lounge or switch terminals, you need either a full eVisa or the 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF), which you qualify for only if you also hold a valid visa or long-term pass for the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, Germany, Australia, New Zealand or Switzerland.

Choosing a processing tier

Standard (8 working days) is the most economical and suits travelers planning a month ahead. Priority (5 working days) is the sweet spot for most Estonian clients booking 2 to 3 weeks out. Express (3 working days) is for last-minute trips, urgent business meetings or tight flight connections.

Standard: USD 95 single, 109 double, 119 multiple. Priority: USD 125 single, 135 double, 145 multiple. Express: USD 149 single, 159 double, 169 multiple. Prices are all-in and include the ICA government fee plus our service fee. No hidden charges appear at checkout.

We recommend at least 3 weeks before departure on Standard, 2 weeks on Priority, or a full working week on Express. This leaves a buffer for corrections if ICA requests a clearer photo or reissued document. Applying closer to departure works but removes your safety margin.

No. The government portion of the fee is non-refundable per ICA policy, regardless of outcome. Our document pre-check exists to address this: we review every application before filing and flag issues that typically cause rejections so they can be fixed in time.

Your stay, entry type and onward travel

Up to 29 days per entry, at the arriving ICA officer's discretion. The visa itself is valid for 63 days from the date of issue, during which you must enter Singapore at least once.

Single entry suits a straight round trip from Tartu, Tallinn or Narva. Double entry is the go-to for Estonian travelers doing a Singapore plus Bali, Phuket or Kuala Lumpur loop. Multiple entry fits frequent business travelers, CIS traders and executives attending back-to-back meetings or expos inside the 63-day window.

Yes, and it is one of the most popular itineraries for Estonian travelers. Pick a double or multiple entry visa, fly into Changi, spend time in Singapore, hop to Bali, Phuket or KL, and loop back through Singapore on the way home. Changi is the regional hub with direct flights to every major Southeast Asian city.

Short extensions can be requested through the ICA e-Service before your current visit pass expires. Approvals are at ICA's discretion and not guaranteed. For longer stays, the usual path is to exit Singapore and re-apply for a new eVisa.

Documents, photos and common rejections

Taken within the last 3 months, 35mm x 45mm, plain white background, full face visible, neutral expression, no headgear (religious headwear permitted only if facial features remain visible), no glasses with glare, high resolution, no filters or digital retouching.

No. Singapore requires at least 6 months of passport validity beyond your arrival date. Renew your passport first through the Migration Service, then apply with the new passport number. If you've already started a draft with us, we'll hold it while you wait for the new document.

The most common causes are: photos that fail ICA's 35mm x 45mm or background standards, a blurry or cropped passport data page, missing onward flight ticket, hotel booking dates that don't match the stay, and name spellings that differ between passport and application form. Our pre-submission review catches these before they become a rejection.

At Changi and after approval

Your Estonian passport, the printed or digital eVisa, your SG Arrival Card confirmation, and supporting documents (onward ticket, hotel booking). Immigration may ask brief questions about your stay, funds and return plans, so have answers ready.

Only electronic. The eVisa is a PDF delivered to your email after approval. You can print it or show it on your phone at Changi, both are accepted. No passport sticker or immigration stamp is applied at issuance.

No. The Singapore eVisa covers short-term tourism and business visits such as meetings, site inspections or conferences only. Paid employment requires a Work Pass from the Ministry of Manpower, and study over 30 days requires a Student Pass from the relevant institution.
