Singapore Visa for Iranian Citizens

Yes. If you hold an Iranian passport, you need a Singapore visa before you board your flight to Changi. This is true for holidays, family visits, business, medical treatment, and even short layovers where you plan to leave the airport. There is no Singapore embassy in Mashhad, so you cannot apply in person in Iran. The easiest and only practical way is the online Singapore eVisa, filed by a Singapore-based sponsor like us and sent to your email.

Singapore ICA rules ask for an authorized local sponsor or visa agent inside Singapore to file visa applications for Iranian nationals. You cannot submit a file to ICA by yourself from Tehran or Mashhad. Our Singapore office at 68 Circular Road acts as your sponsor. Yes. A residence permit (Emirates ID, Turkish ikamet, Canadian PR, British ILR, German Aufenthaltstitel, and similar) does not change your nationality. If you travel on an Iranian passport, you still need the Singapore eVisa, even if you live full-time abroad. Under current ICA rules, the Singapore visa for Iranian nationals is issued as Single Entry or Double Entry only. Multiple Entry is not offered on this passport. If your plan is to enter Singapore twice inside 63 days (for example, Singapore on the way out to Bali, then again on the way home), choose Double Entry when you apply. For three or more entries, you must apply again after each visit.

For most customers inside Iran, the practical options are: ask a trusted family member or friend outside Iran to pay the USD fee on your behalf and settle the Rial amount domestically, or use a virtual international card service that some Iranian customers already use for other overseas payments. We do not handle cash or informal money transfer inside Iran. Once the USD payment lands on our gateway, we start processing your visa right away and the payer does not need to be the traveler.

ICA needs at least 6 months of passport validity from the day you enter Singapore. If your passport expires in 7 months and you plan to travel in the next few weeks, you are fine. If your trip is later, renew first. Iranian passport renewal through Police +10 centers or the Passport and Immigration Police normally takes 1 to 3 weeks with a standard request. The visa itself is valid for 63 days from the day ICA issues it, so you must enter Singapore at least once inside that window. To stay longer, you must file an extension on the ICA e-Service, and it is not always granted.
