Do Sudanese citizens need a visa for Singapore?
Yes. If you hold a Sudanese passport, you need a visa to enter Singapore. This applies to holidays, business trips, family visits, medical treatment, and even short airport stops where you leave the transit area. The easiest path today is the online Singapore eVisa. It is approved by ICA (Singapore's immigration authority) and delivered to your email in 3 to 8 working days. You can choose Single Entry for one visit or Double Entry for two visits inside 63 days. Multiple Entry is not issued to Sudanese passport holders at this time. You also need the Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC). Every traveler must submit the SGAC within 3 days before arrival. You can add SGAC filing as an optional add-on at checkout for a small fee.

Escape Sudan's extremesTrade 45°C habub summers for a steady 28°C all year
The Sahara south climbs past 45°C every July, and the habub wind carries hot sand all the way to Khartoum, Omdurman, and Kassala from May to August. Singapore sits on the equator and stays a steady 26 to 32°C, with zero sandstorms, year-round AC indoors, and lush green everywhere. Twelve hours of flying gives you a calm, cool city break without the Sudanese summer heat.

Frequently asked questions
Clear answers to the questions Sudanese travelers ask us the most before they apply.
Visa basics for Sudanese passport holders
Yes. If you hold a Sudanese passport, you need a Singapore visa before you board your flight to Changi. This applies to tourism, family visits, business meetings, medical care, and even short airport stops where you plan to leave the transit area. Singapore does not have an embassy or consulate in Khartoum, so you cannot apply face-to-face inside Sudan. The simplest and only practical path is the online Singapore eVisa, filed on your behalf by a Singapore-based sponsor like us and delivered to your email.
Singapore ICA rules ask for an authorized local sponsor or visa agent inside Singapore to file visa applications for Sudanese nationals. You cannot submit a file to ICA by yourself from Khartoum, Omdurman, or any other Sudanese city. Our Singapore office at 68 Circular Road acts as your sponsor. We prepare the Letter of Introduction (LOI), upload your papers, and follow your case until it is approved. You do not need a friend, employer, or family inside Singapore to invite you.
Yes. The Sudanese biometric passport, issued by the Ministry of the Interior since 2012, is fully accepted as a valid travel document by Singapore ICA. We have been filing Sudanese cases for several years with a very high approval rate. Your Sudanese passport is processed under our sponsorship like any other eligible nationality. Just make sure your passport has at least 6 months of validity after your planned arrival date in Singapore and 2 empty pages.
Use whichever passport gives you the easier trip. Turkish and Jordanian passport holders still need a Singapore eVisa, so the paperwork is the same. German, Swedish, Austrian, Dutch, Italian, British, and other EU, EEA, and UK passport holders enter Singapore visa-free for up to 90 days with no paperwork at all, which is faster and free. If you have a European, UK, or US passport, use it. Otherwise apply on your Sudanese passport. We will confirm the smarter choice in our free WhatsApp pre-check.
Yes. A European residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel, Ausländerausweis, Uppehållstillstånd) does not change your nationality. If you travel on a Sudanese passport you still need the Singapore eVisa, even if you have lived in the EU for many years. The good news is that a long European residence history often speeds up our pre-check because ICA sees a stable address and work record.
Pricing, payment and entry types
All prices are in US dollars and all-inclusive (Singapore government fee + LOI sponsor fee + our service fee). Standard (8 working days): USD 135 single, USD 169 double. Priority (5 working days): USD 179 single, USD 199 double. Express (3 working days): USD 209 single, USD 229 double. No hidden charges. You see the final amount before you pay.
Under current ICA rules, the Singapore visa for Sudanese nationals is issued only as Single Entry or Double Entry. Multiple Entry is not offered on this passport. If your plan is to enter Singapore twice inside the 63-day validity window, for example Singapore on the way out to Bali and then again on the way home, choose Double Entry when you apply. For three or more entries you must submit a fresh application after each visit.
We offer three speeds. Standard takes 8 working days. Priority takes 5 working days. Express takes 3 working days. Counting starts the day after we file your papers, not on Saturday, Sunday, or Singapore public holidays. Please apply a few days early and avoid booking a non-refundable flight until your eVisa is in your email.
Yes, as long as your card is turned on for international online payments in USD. International debit and credit cards issued by Trade Bank of Sudan, BNA (Banque Nationale d'Algérie) Sudan, Byblos Bank Sudan, Bank of Khartoum, North Bank of Sudan work on our secure USD gateway. Most Sudanese banks let you flip the international-payments switch inside your mobile banking app in under a minute.
Sudan's official currency is the Sudanese Pound (SDG). When you pay on our site you are charged in USD. Your Sudanese card or wallet converts Sudanese Dinar to USD at your bank's daily rate. The amount you see on your statement will be a few cents different from the listed USD price because of the exchange rate on the day. There is no extra currency-conversion fee on our side.
Passport, stay and family travel
ICA needs at least 6 months of passport validity from the day you arrive in Singapore. If your passport expires in 7 months and you plan to travel in the next few weeks, you are fine. If your trip is later, renew first. Passport renewal in Sudan through the Ministry of Internal Affairs or at a Sudanese diplomatic mission abroad usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. Our pre-check will flag any file close to the 6-month threshold before you pay.
Up to 29 days per entry. The officer at Changi Airport decides the exact number of days when you arrive. The visa itself is valid for 63 days from the day ICA issues it, so you must enter Singapore at least once inside that window. To stay longer than 29 days, you must file an extension on the ICA e-Service, and extensions are not always granted.
Yes. Every person needs their own Singapore eVisa linked to their own Sudanese passport, including babies. We bundle the whole family into one payment and one delivery email. Children need their own photo and their own passport bio scan. We recommend the same speed tier for everyone so your visas all land on the same day. If your spouse has a different family name, carry the children's birth certificates (and a marriage certificate if only one parent travels) for Changi arrival.
Yes. Many Sudanese travelers build a Southeast Asia loop: Singapore plus Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, or Bali. Your Singapore eVisa covers Singapore only, but Sudanese citizens can enter Malaysia for up to 30 days visa-free, Thailand for up to 30 days visa-free, and Indonesia with a visa on arrival in Bali. If you plan to come back into Singapore after a side trip, choose Double Entry at the start of your application, not Single Entry.
In Singapore: culture, safety, language
ICA does not demand travel insurance for Sudanese tourists, but we strongly recommend it. Healthcare in Singapore is excellent but expensive for foreigners, and a single emergency room visit can run into the hundreds of dollars. A basic travel insurance policy from a Sudanese or international insurer usually costs under USD 20 for a two-week trip and covers hospital bills, flight delays, and lost luggage. Carry your policy number on your phone when you land at Changi.
Size 35mm x 45mm. Taken within the last 3 months. Plain white background. Face must be fully visible, neutral expression, no big smile. No sunglasses, no glare on glasses, no jewelry on the face. Religious head coverings are allowed as long as the full face oval stays visible from forehead to chin. We review every photo before we file. If the photo is off, we ask you for a free retake and help you from your phone.
Yes. Singapore is one of the top 5 safest cities in the world for solo women travelers. The MRT runs until around midnight, Grab and normal taxis are reliable and metered, and police response is very fast. Hotels and hostels are used to solo female guests from Sudanese Dinarpe, and staff speak English. Many Sudanese women make this trip alone for work or a short break with no issues at all. You can dress however you feel comfortable, Singapore is open and multicultural.
Your journey: Khartoum to Changi
There is no direct flight from Sudan to Singapore. Sudanese travelers typically fly one-stop from Khartoum International (PZU) via Istanbul (Turkish Airlines), Vienna (Austrian), Zurich (Swiss), Frankfurt (Lufthansa), or Munich, with a transfer to a long-haul carrier such as Singapore Airlines. Two-stop routings via Istanbul plus Dubai or Doha are also common. Total travel time is usually 16 to 22 hours door to door. Your Singapore eVisa is valid no matter how many stops you take.
We reply in Arabic (العربية) and English on WhatsApp, email, and phone. Most first answers come back in under 15 business minutes during Khartoum working hours. If your English is limited, write to us in Arabic and we will answer in the same language. Our agents are used to Sudanese names with Arabic transliteration, so you do not need to transliterate them.
