Singapore Airlines passengers can now earn Club points and redeem them for flight tickets, hotel bookings, car rentals, and more.
It’s a joint venture between the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and Hong Kong Telecoms loyalty program The Club offers members the opportunity to earn and redeem points while they travel.
Members will get two types of points: KrisFlyer Miles and Club Points. You can convert these to one another and use them for personalized travel packages, concert packages, hotel bookings, flight ticket bookings, car rentals, shopping discounts, and dining.
To give the passengers a better idea, here is how the points and miles work:
- 1 KrisFlyer Mile = 0..15 Clubpoint
- 1 Clubpoint = 0.6 KrisFlyer Mile
There is also a minimum and maximum limit to using each of the points and miles. The minimum amount of KrisFlyer Miles you can use is 3,000 miles, and the maximum is 30,000 miles per member in a one-year span.
Clubpoints minimum use limit is 100 points, and the maximum use limit is 10,000 points. But this is for just one day. For a year, the limit goes up to 100,000 points per member.
The joint venture is a step forward in making Singapore and Hong Kong a desirable tourist destination. At the same time, it signifies both countries’ business ties.
This offer is a limited-time launch, as it is available until May 31st this year. The program started on February 1st, 2024.
Further information and terms and conditions are available on The Club and KrisFlyer websites.
